Michelle
Kramis was born in Mexico City in 1982. At the age of four,
she moved to Houston with her family. Michelle took her first
skating lesson at the Galleria when she was four years old.
After approximately a year, her parents took her out of skating.
She started skating again when she was thirteen. When she
was in high school, her parents sent her to a boarding school in
Lake Placid, New York that specialized in winter sports so that
she could train there. Michelle also trained in various places
like Houston, Mexico City and Ontario, California. She competed
many times in places like Dallas, Houston, Burlington and Mexico
City.
In
2004, Michelle graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A.
in Business Administration. She is now attending law school
at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Michelle
started coaching in 2004 in Ontario, Ca. While coaching in
California, she taught students from various levels from Tot 1 through
Freestyle 5. She is a member of the Ice Skating Institute.
Michelle loves children and her favorite hobby is figure skating,
so what better job than coaching!! Michelle's coaching philosophy
is that she believes that every student is capable of becoming a
great skater and in order to do this, they must have positive reinforcement
and they must believe in themselves.
