Megan Snyder

Megan Snyder is 20 years old, but she never really did grow up.  An avid babysitter, she is responsible in all the practical ways but she takes just as much joy in adding bunny ears to a photograph or playing a game of freeze tag as any six year old.

Megan was born and raised in Houston, TX.   At age five, she was walking the upper levels of the Galleria mall with her mom when she pointed down at the rink and said, "Mommy, I want to do that!"  By her first group lesson, though, she was kicking and screaming as her coaches beckoned her onto the ice.  Coaches like Clevette, JJ, Brette, Megan and Randy were all part of what came to be a great experience of practicing and competing all over the country until age twelve.

She is currently taking classes at the University of Houston and is excited to return to her old rink as an Instructor.  Megan was our Camp Blizzard Counselor this past summer.  She brought her amazing arts and crafts skills to compliment the amazing choreography she created for the campers for their last day-of-camp performances.

She loves taking care of her pets, a Chihuahua named Oliver and a Siamese fighting fish named Francis.  Other hobbies include reading John Grisham novels and watching Law and Order episodes for hours at a time.

If you would like to contact Megan for private lessons, she can be reached at 713-416-3564.
