Jennifer Pacheco-Lathe

Born in Houston, Jennifer Pacheco-Lathe got into ice-skating to get away from the southern heat. She considered her time on the ice as a way to escape into her own world. At age 17, she moved to Florida.   It was in Florida where she started her coaching career at age 22. A year later she returned to Houston and continued to teach here.

When she returned to Houston, she worked at the ice rink in the Galleria in a myriad of different jobs ending as senior pro shop manager, before making coaching her sole career.

She takes pleasure in her coaching duties. She looks at her position as one of a role model, giving her students knowledge and helping them reach their goals.

When she's not on ice, she spends her time in several different ways. From horse back riding, to skating shows, working out at the gym and even taking third in District for swimming, she juggles her pleasures around the full time job of being a mother to her three children.
